Welcome to JA3FPN/1 page
Hi friends, here's a home page for my radio amateur station JA3FPN/1. Sorry, for not

information database. I have to first learn how to use Japanese editor to start a
Japanese page. Be patient and come back again.

Operation History
JA3FPN was started by a junior high school student in 1966 in a little town of Maizuru,
Kyoto. Home made transmitter with final tube UY807 made propagation on 80m and 40m band.
The receiver was also a home made single super heterodyne. The station has moved to
Koch and then Osaka as the
operator moved for
education. However, very little operation
was done in these locations. Essentially the station was kept under QRT status
until recently. Now the station is located in Tsukuba,
Ibaraki. I wouldn't say it
is very active but always has some activities. My friends, I will be looking forward to
seeing you on air.
