 Traning Match : Win by 4-0
 
  Reds is continuing favorable training. Yesterday, Reds played the third training match in this camp against Adelaide United. Reds tested 3-3-3-1 system, and they hold off the Australian premier side and won by 4-0.
  Hasebe went close with a cross from Yamada and scored the first goal in the first half, but there is no chance expect that because the crunching press of the Australianfs side.

  In second half, Adelaide changed their formation to 3-top, so Reds also changed to 4 back system. It changed the course of the game, a fine passing move provided Reds with their real opportunity.

  Emerson stabbed his first from the left-side corner kick within only two minutes of the restart. And then Yamada flicked the ball onto Hasebe from half-way-line, who send the his forward through with a fine pass. It took only seven seconds that Emerson struck his second after 4 minutes from his first. After the five minutes, he scored his third from the penalty that Santos earned.

  Emerson said,
  ''Although my condition is about 40%, I am glad to score triple.''

  And our boss Guido said,
  ''I am satisfied on the whole. Especially, our third is so good. The teamfs aim is to stretch the defence by using the both side wide and push up that open space.''

  In Adelaide, Reds played the second training match in this camp against Adelaide Galaxy at Hindmarsh Stadium. From Saitama-Shinbun, Reds took 3-4-3 system, and Horinouchi and Nishimura played as diffensive midfielder.

 Our Players worked hard for Japan

  Japan national team played a friendly match against Malaysia in Kashima Stadium on Saturday evening for preparation to 2006 World Cup preliminary which start wednesday 18 February.
  Our Reds players -Yamada,Tsuboi,Santos,and Tsuzuki- were given a run by the manager Jico, and were lively in the squad. Yamada scored his first international goal in the just before the halftime. Kashimafs MF Motoyama laid a tempting pass into Yamadafs path, and Nobuhisa blazed a well-weighted middle-range shot into the top right-hand corner of the net.
  Tsuboi, whose name was on the list of starting lineups so that naturally, made a stalwant intervention to keep the clean sheet in the game, and Santos mounted attacks which played a nice ball into the danger area. Furthermore, Tsuzuki was threw on as substitute in 75 min who played for Japan since October, 2001.
  The team made a triumphant start by 4-0 win.

  In the meantime, Japan U-23 team for Athens Olympic also played the international friendly match against Iran in Saitama Stadium on Sunday evening. In the squad, T.Tanaka, Yamase, Suzuki and Turio showed the good play, respectively.
  Especially, Yamase found the killer pass the number of times, and Tatsuya showed the pace on the break. He scampered around Iran's defense on the left and set up an easy chance to the opening goal in the game for Hirayama, who is the 18-year-old center forward and took just 19 minutes to score his first goal for Japan's under-23 side.
  And Turio made his Japan debut, showed his predatorfs instinct as libero.

 Yamada was selected as New Captain

  This seasonfs top-team captain was selected as Japan international player, Nobuhisa Yamada, club official said in '' Reds Festa '' which held yesterday at Saitama Super Alena.
  In front of over 24,000 Reds fans, the new captain pledged.

  '' We want to understand a boss's tactics and to assert the result on a pitch.''

  And there, the new squad number was announced. The new comerfs and the change from last season is as follow.
